OAK MAGAZINE | issue twelve

A restored 1930s general store has now once again become the heart of the highway.

Kat Montgomery realised her dream to open a shop filled with all her favourite things in an old general store in the tiny town of Nevertire, NSW.

Kat shares with OAK writer Alice Moffitt how she took the first step in manifesting her shop – The Rural Trader, the impact of winning the people’s choice award in the 2021 Buy From The Bush Big Break, future plans and more.

Alongside Kat’s story are other fabulous features including Because of my Four, Soilz Alive, Enviro EDU, Spark Drop, Farm Life Fitness.

Issue 12 talks about mental health, leadership, resilience, e-commerce, the importance of building digital capability, women’s health, sustainability, and so much more. There is also a travel feature to keep you company over the school holiday break.
