Dubbo’s Emily Sutherland and her family know this from spending close to decade finding out the hard way.

They hope by sharing Emily’s story and celebrating how far she has come, other young people in similar situations might feel less alone and more assured that the help they need is out there. That their families, friends, and the regional institutions responsible for supporting them, are more open to understanding the specialist care that is needed.
